Summer School Project

"GET AHEAD WITH OPTICS"

We are happy to inform you, that "GET AHEAD WITH OPTICS - Part II" will take place at Sfax, Tunisia in 2013. Date and program will be announced as soon as possible.

The interdisciplinary program is targeted towards female graduate students from Tunisia and Germany, which are interested in the field of optics, photonics, or measurement techniques. Its content and structure are designed to provide them with professional skills and help them succeed in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of optics and photonics. The topic of 2013 is "GET AHEAD WITH OPTICS: Ready for a Job in Industry!", and the summer school will focus on optical measurement techniques for quality and process control in industrial production procedures. Additionally, the project will offer career coaching and international networking opportunities for ambitious and promising young professionals to lay the groundwork for a successful scientific career. 

The summer school "GET AHEAD WITH OPTICS" 2013 is a partnership of:

• University of Stuttgart, Institute of Applied Optics, Germany

• Institut Supérieur d'Informatique et de Multimédia de Sfax, Tunisia

• University of Sfax, l'Unité Physique des Matériaux Isolants et Semi Isolants, Tunisia
